Installation - ALWAYS PULL THE JSD PRO BY ITS CONNECTORS, NEVER ITS WIRES!

• GPS (Gear Position Sensor) Connection
• 1. Switch ignition off.
• 2. Remove seat and lift fuel tank.
• 3. Disconnect GPS connector (white, three-pin with black, blue and pink wires).
• 4. Connect JSD Pro connectors to GPS connectors.
• 5. Connect red wire of JSD Pro to a switched fused 12V DC (coil orange/white or brake light switch orange or orange/green).
• ECU (Electronic Control Unit) Connection
• 6. Remove black ECU connector.
• 7. Remove orange cap.  First, lift one lock tab using a 1.5mm flathead screwdriver and carefully pull cap up.  Second, lift other lock tab and remove cap. 
• 8. Locate black/green wire on ECU connector contact (count wires from right to left as indicated on connector back side):

GSX-R1000 K5	Black connector – 6th wire
GSR600 K6	Black connector – 6th wire
GSX-R600/750 K6, K7	Black connector – 6th wire
GSX-R1000 K7, K8	Black connector – 23rd wire
GSX650F K8	Black connector – 6th wire
GSX-R600/750 K8	Black connector – 23rd wire
GSX1300R K8, BK, K8	Black connector – 6th wire

• 9. Disconnect black/green wire from ECU connector contact.  First, place screwdriver into lower part of slot of black/green wire.  Slip in screwdriver until it stops in a tab of the contact.  Second, apply pressure to tab as you move the screwdriver downwards.  Carefully pull black/green wire from behind while bending tab.  The black/green wire will slip out.
• 10. Identify silver male pin crimped to black wire of JSD Pro.  Connect JSD Pro male pin to ECU black/green wire.
• 11. Identify silver female pin crimped to black wire of JSD Pro.  Plug JSD Pro female pin into slot left by disconnected black/green wire of ECU connector contact.
• 12. Replace orange cap and replace black ECU connector.
• 13. Replace seat and fuel tank.

Connect the ECU wire to the JSDPro
